Drivers Get On The SMS Craze But Ignore Safety

The survey that they conducted was basically done so as to assess and check "the experience and expectations of car owners regarding speed-enabled functions in cars". And this study took around a thousand drivers as respondents. These drivers were from various continents like European country Germany, North American nation United States, and Asian country Japan. The statistics showed that these driver-respondents were very much relying on information and communication devices that could be found and installed in vehicles. From voice-activated dialing and voice destination entry for navigation systems to speech-based control of entertainment systems, embedded speech applications deliver the hands-free, eyes-free interface that today's electronically connected drivers need to balance on-road safety and personal convenience." Indeed, devices for vehicles should be designed so as to assist drivers more rather than distract them. After all, the main responsibility of a driver is to reach his or her destination and keep their eyes on the road.

Ford Can Cut Production Cost If It Starts To Share

Nonetheless, it will also be one of the most apparent, so far. Analysts are saying that Kuzak seems to have the right idea. Nevertheless, he has to move swiftly for time is of the essence. No matter how brilliant the idea is, it will turn out to be futile if implemented out of time. Ford is currently battling one great storm, and it is up to the automaker to take measures to protect its name and standing. Time is short and Ford should not let it slip away without doing something essential.

The automaker badly needs a home run to return to the good days in the auto industry. To some auto analysts, if Ford starts to share the architecture with other brands, the company will be able to cut about 30 percent of the total production cost. Having a very strong and capable platform -- and on top of that you put very unique products that are unique not just in how they look but are very consistent with the individual brand DNA."

Gaylord Tonneau Covers - A Review of the TL-Series

The company claims that the cover can be self-installed and that no special tools or drilling is required. While this is true, you are probably going to need a pair of helping hands when you install it.Folks like hard tonneau covers because they are generally more weather-tight than soft versions. The double neoprene seals that come with the TL-Series will stop any water penetration of the bed of the truck, even when doing long highway motoring. If you think you will be taking off your cover frequently (when you need to haul large cargo) you might regret buying a fiberglass lid. While taking off the TL-Series can be done by one person, putting it back on really is a two-man operation.

And, if you do remove the cover, you've got the problem of finding adequate storage space in your garage.Directly fitted on to the frame are two hydraulically operated struts, which the company calls the EZ Lift Hinge Assist System. What this actually means is that when you open the lid, the hinges automatically lift up the lid into the fully open position.
